National day dedicated to the open source operating system Linux.
The event takes place simultaneously in about 100 Italian cities. Is organized locally by each July, associations referenced users of these collaborative software that make available, at no cost, their time and their knowledge to disseminate and train citizens, especially the younger generation, to Culture of FLOSS in its technical, legal and social.
The 2015 edition of Orvieto is still dedicated to the school and to makers: this year the themes that will be discussed range from computer security, to Linux, to the programming languages for children.
Participation in the activities of the day is free, totally free.
