The Feast of Bigonzone precedes that of “pistatura”, the historic center of Monterubiaglio turns into a forest full of local flavors, served in food stalls set up by the Local.
The highlight of the party is in the evening when you finally “put cinnamon bigonzone” after so much hard work and days spent in the fields, now you can toast accompanied by the warmth of the fire on which everyone can cook, with his spit, bacon or sausage, or wait for the big frying pan in the center of the square come chestnuts.
