Rural tradition typical linked to the collection and processing of olives. Once the harvesting stage was celebrated the so-called “buonfinita”. He was celebrated by setting up on the threshing floor of farmhouses of impromptu parties and before leaving they left small gifts for the boss, a slice of olive. Around the plant decked gathered for the festival all the protagonists of the collection to the sound of accordions and danced the ratchet, they performed folk songs, and order to savor the simple dishes of country cooking. To dress up the olive festival is used to variety of objects, from colored ribbons fruit, candy and small toys for the children, including small gifts for the guests of honor as socks or neckties.
