The project is inspired by a deep interest in Japanese Culture: interest and curiosity to know someone and something very different from western me. From books by Banana Yoshimoto, so dreamlike and muffled, grappling, the university, with the study of kanji, fascinating and mysterious keepers of history and of the spirit, to travel to Japan, fantastic and surreal urban scenes, to study the language, know the habits.
The festival is the brainchild of Japanese culture just to party hosting artists with traditional dances and music in another great historical and landscape setting such as San Gemini. The intent is to welcome the Japanese culture so complex and make it simple and straightforward for us who inhabit this country and for all those we will find. For the Japanese will be just an exciting encounter, rich in history, art and traditions in the warm embrace of our Latin roots.
