Trade Show of the Dead Perugia is considered the largest and most important fair of Perugia.
It dates back to medieval times and its name was then “All Saints Fair”, having been placed in the period of this religious festival. He was part of a rich program of exhibitions and trade activities in Umbria, in the medieval and renaissance period. Only since the ‘600 the All Saints Fair will be called “the dead”, while the 800 will take the current name of “Fair of the dead.”
Currently, the Fair is proposed as a huge market, with more than 500 stands, from clothing to household goods, from crafts to gastronomy, with the presence – in particular – of the typical products from various Italian regions and the ‘quality craftsmanship of the twin towns Perugia.
