This year the International Descent of the Tiber (# DIT2018), scheduled from April 25 to May 1, counts its 39th edition and confirms an event appreciated by many people coming from abroad.
During the Descent, in fact, each one tries his time: the spirit of the initiative is purely tourism and discovery of the territory. Every day you can walk in canoe and bike about thirty kilometers: walkers instead cover half of the route. The groups meet every end of the day to spend the evening together with the typical products linked to the territory, but also respect for the environment, reducing the waste produced to the maximum. During the descent there is also the opportunity to visit the historical and artistic sites that meet near the river.
In view of the event, next March 18th the organizing committee of the Downhill organizes a free open day on Lake Trasimeno to transmit the first theoretical and practical suggestions for the use of canoeing.
